Gobi is a contemporary Georgian signature-cuisine restaurant located in Tallinn’s Rotermann Quarter. The restaurant’s concept is based on traditional recipes and flavours from different regions of Georgia, interpreted through modern fine-dining techniques.
The kitchen is led by Georgian head chef Jano Kolbaia, whose style combines classic Georgian culinary traditions, modern presentation and international influences. The menu features authentic Georgian spices and ingredients, with attention paid both to the origins of the flavours and to their contemporary interpretation.
The restaurant’s name also carries Georgian tradition: “gobi” refers to a round wooden serving tray from which food is shared. The same idea is reflected in the restaurant’s concept, where Georgian hospitality, the culture of sharing food and the modern interpretation of traditions take centre stage.
